Health checks
Occupational health care carries out various inspections for different needs.
The aim of statutory initial inspection and periodic health check is to prevent work-related illnesses and monitor the employee's ability to work during the employment relationship. The employer must ensure that the employee undergoes statutory health checks - The employee cannot refuse these health checks without a justified reason.
Voluntary pre-employment checks are carried out if the employer has made an agreement with the occupational health service regarding these inspections.
Other health checks can also be performed at occupational health care; you can find more information about these under "Other health checks" button. Here you will also find a link to the Work-Based Health Survey, which may have been directed to you by an occupational health care professional, and access to self-care instructions if you have already filled out the survey.
