Pre-employment check

Pre-employment checks can be carried out for work tasks other than those involving statutory exposures. Pre-employment checks are agreed upon separately with the employer - please ask your employer about the need for a pre-employment inspection before booking an appointment.

If necessary, you can also contact your own occupational health nurse, as a mobile client via LRTT OmaTyöterveys application's Non-urgent messaging, or alternatively by submitting a call request via online booking.

You can make an appointment for a pre-employment check by booking an appointment online by selecting Occupational Health Inspection > Other Inspection > Other Inspection requirements > Occupational Health Nurse Callback Request.

Please note: If you have been instructed that the check also includes a drug test, please inform your occupational health nurse when you make the appointment.

Pre-employment checks are primarily carried out via video appointment. You can access the video appointment from the LRTT OmaTyöterveys application or by clicking the Video appointment link (requires strong identification with baking codes.)
